Asphalt Resurfacing Restores Lot Conditions Like New!

Asphalt resurfacing (as know as an asphalt overlay) creates the look and feel of new pavement without having to demolish the existing asphalt.

An asphalt overlay is simply a new layer of hot mix asphalt paved on top of the original surface. A layer of asphalt emulsion tack is placed between the new and old asphalt acting as a bonding agent. If your parking lot or driveway has structural damage, sub-base failure, poor drainage, raveling, or has already been resurfaced this option may not be viable. Contact us to schedule an appointment with one of our experienced field technicians to walk the site and evaluate the best resurfacing option for your project. If the lots damage is too extensive, we can offer milling which will grind the asphalt to a predetermined depth for a smooth and even surface. Resurfacing should not get confused with asphalt sealcoating. Sealcoating is the process of spraying a thin protective coating on the asphalt surface. This coating serves as a waterproofing, crack sealing, and surface protection layer on the paved asphalt.  It helps to protect against erosion, uv light, oil, gas, and other elements that breakdown the asphalt over time.
